Mr. Math

"Britton getting his Medal "

A few days ago, we recieved an invitation in the mail to attend awards night at Britton's school. They don't tell you any more than just that you have been invited. On Tuesday David and I went with Britton to the awards night. My goodness, it was huge with the entire gym being full of students and parents. Britton, recieved two awards on Tuesday. The first award he recieved was a teacher award. These are the awards given by the individual teachers to students that they find to be outstanding in their classroom. Britton was selected for this award by his Health teacher. The second award he received was for a score of a "Perfect 500" on his CRT testing in Math, which is the standardized tests the middle schoolers here in Nevada take. The Dean who presented these awards likened these scores to receiving a perfect score on the SAT tests. Our kudo's go to Britton for his patience and perseverance in school. We are so proud of him. He is headed to high school next year and can't wait! We are excited for him to get to Shadow Ridge because we know what a great asset he will be to his friends and his teachers. Keep up the good work son!!
