Colton's 19th birthday was April 3rd. In true Colton fashion he celebrated with a quiet little party with some of his friends on Sat night. They had a BBQ courtesy of Master Chef/ Master Piano Player Nick Reynolds! They had a Pinata, courtesy of Ashley, and lots of fun courtesy of good friends and good weather. It was cool enough for a fire in the outdoor fireplace, and good live music provided by some of Colton's friends. Dessert was to die for with our "custom" version of Colton's favorite, "Confetti Cake". Our "custom" version includes straight out of the box, into the cupcake pans, and store bought frosting!! Not to be outdone with all of that fun, we celebrated family style, on Sunday morning with mom's famous crepes. This year we had lemon and strawberry/whipped cream. This is Colton's favorite breakfast. We also had presents along with the "cake" version of Confetti Cake and icecream for dessert Sunday evening. Not only did the lucky boy have a party but he was serenaded with the Wardell Birthday song twice!! For those of you who don't know the words to our family version, it is something special. Due to space restrictions, I wouldn't want to type the words here, but lets just say it takes about 3 minutes to sing!! Below are a couple of pics of Colton moments from the previous year.
